Udmurtia uses blockchain in management of farming lands and state property.
In 2018, the Government of Udmurtia will test blockchain in the field of public administration.
According to Alexander Svinin, the first deputy chairman of Udmurt Republic government, firstly, blockchain projects will be tested for monitoring of agricultural lands, as well as state and municipal property.
"Now we are selecting projects for blockchain-technologies testing in the field of state administration in 2018. Most likely, this topic will be related to involving of lands in agriculture and management of state and municipal real estate," said Svinin.
Svinin noted that Udmurtia has all necessary conditions for innovative projects testing.
"In Udmurtia, 6% of the gross regional product is IT-sphere, so we have a large number of IT-companies. For this purpose, we have also created the IT and new technologies ministry in the new government. They have their own information center and about 60 programmers work there. To implement such project, we have both business and government tools," explained Svinin.
