The Ukrainian company created blockchain application to encourage activists in the sphere of ecology. KT-energy is one of the leading project developers in energy effectiveness  and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Recently KT-energy developed a mobile application called Climatic Drops  on the basis of blockchain technology. As ForkLog informs the new mobile application uses Microsoft Azure servers and rewards users for climate and environment protection activities.  In particular, application gives “climatic drops” for such activities as bicycling, tree planting,  waste sorting, energy saving. The blockchain platform monitors the acts of users and transforms to electronic marks. The marks can be further traded for different bonuses on the loyalty programmes of the project partners.   The representatives of the company suggest that every active platform user can get 500 mad more marks (“drops”) over year. It is expected that during this year the number of the platform users will reach 50 000 people. In turn, the number of “drops” will reach 25 mln. units.
