Three BlackRock ex-employees are going to launch blockchain fund

They are about to start a new project with assets for $20 mln. Ii will specialize on blockchain projects investment.

As Financial Times informs its readers, three analysts of investment fund BlackRock quitted their positions. The reason of it is their plan to establish and launch the new project - venture fund  Eterna Capital. The new fund will focus on investments in blockchain projects. The fund is planning to attract $20 mln. The leader of the company, Andrea Bomaseto, established HR-service HiredGrad in 2014.  His partners are Nassim Olive, ex-operational director of the fund, portfolio manager Asim Akhmad and ex-head of research division Mattia Mrvoshevitch. According to the words of Assim Akhmad, they all see blockchain technology very perspective. Within interview with CoinDesk he said that the chance to create their new fund is too good to give it up. The representatives of Eterna Capital note that the fund will attract the funds of large investors. The main aim of the fund is financing of blockchain projects which develop decisions for serious social problems including starvation, lack of water and so on. The participants of this project are sure that in future there will be created more crypto and blockchain funds.
