California state senator promotes blockchain bill. The aim of it is stock information recording.
Last week, Bob Hertzberg, the senator of California, put forward legislative act which permits blockchain technology for some certain business activities. This bill would let financial institutes to apply and use blockchain technology or any other networks for recording and keeping information about names, contacts and shares number of shareholders as well as all the stock transfers.
Senator Hertzberg presented the new bill to the Senate Banking and Financial Institutions Committee. As sources said, the bill would provide “a secure method to issue and transfer corporate share certificates”. The legislative act can become the first step for integration of ,Blockchain technology in California. According to the words of Hertzberg the world is quickly changing, and it is better for government to come to terms with it.
