The Republic of San Marino can suddenly become one of the world blockchain centers. The Institute of Innovation, based in this small European state, has just announced a partnership with the Estonian company Polybius.
As it is reported in The BanklessTime, within the framework of the partnership, a joint venture has been established. Its target is to create an ecosystem for blockchain innovations in accordance with San Marino legislation.
The Government of the Republic indicated its willingness to head this process of transformation. It has all the means for popularization of digital innovations. In particular, the partnership will allow San Marino to use the technology of digital identification for creating mechanisms of verification of users. This system was developed by financial and technical company Polybius.
State Secretary for Economic Development of San Marino Andrea Zafferani is certain that, due to the partnership with Polybius the Republic will develop the most favorable regulatory regime, allowing it to become one of the world leaders in the field of blockchain technologies.
