The police of India demands to establish blockchain-system of registration in hotels.

The police of Indian state Andkhra-Pradesh ordered to implement the new blockchain system in all hotels of this state. The system is developed by local startup Zebi.

as CoinDesk informs. As it follows from the description of this project, the system combines technologies of blockchain and digital intelligence. It will make possible to keep and store the data about visitors of hotels. According to words of developers, this mechanism will help not only to simplify the process for customers, but also to prevent potential criminal activities. The following strategy is expected: the collected information will be compared with database of the police which contain information about criminals and gone missings. The comparison will help to define if a visitor has criminal past. As developers say, this system has already been established in more than 200 hotels including The Park, Taj Gateway и Novotel.

The implementation of this technology is obligatory for all hotels on this territory. In comparison with legislation, they must provide the police with personal data of visitors every day. The private information is kept in Zebi AI Chain system and cannot be changed. At the same time, the access to the data is possible only  with the permission of clients.

Startup is ready for launching on the territory of the whole country.
