Identity verification app run on blockchain

The new app that is based on blockchain technology will help protecting users’ data during transaction.

Company Blockpass launched a new authentication application that is supposed to help users avoiding frauds during the Internet transactions. In addition, the idea of the app is to bypass the constant identity proofs on the online platforms, such as online banking.

Blockpass’ invention will store the identity data on the blockchain. The anonymous cryptographic code will ensure that no personal data is stored on the Blockpass system.  It will carry out the identification process for the users automatically. Also, whenever the authentication is required, a user can scan a unique QR code on the merchant's website to prove the identity.

The platform is planning to integrate the token of its own, by the name PASS. It is related to Ethereum network, using ERC20. The ICO will be held in November on 2018. There will be two more token sale events in 2019 and 2020.

The blockpass team has quite a few “bitcoin evangelists”, who had created successful bitcoin businesses before. During summer 2018 Blockpass is aiming to launch an Android and iOS application, where the instant messenger is integrated.
