Stanford University invites you to study digital assets

Do we need to study blockchain and what opportunities will it open to us? Many universities start to launch blockchain courses to educate students about blockchain technology and its benefits for the world community. Let´s look at Australian University. In February there was founded a blockchain course which helps students to understand this difficult world of digital assets. Also, there are over 15 universities who got a donation for the launch of blockchain education programs. And of course, this trend was picked up by the Stanford University.

On 20 June Stanford computer scientists founded the center for Blockchain Research which will help students to discover this technology. This research programme will last for 5 years and will be supervised by such masters as professors of computer science Dan Boneh and David Mazières and great Stanford professors of engineering, particle physics and law. Students will study the influence of this technology on business interactions and how can the blockchain technology help us in the global fast-changing world.

In the future, this technology can change the vision of how to communicate in the business community and knowing about digital assets, how they work and what are they will help you a lot to deal with big issues in your work. In this course, students will be able to study blockchain implementation and what significant role it plays in the world. Also, they will know about its part in the financial sector and will be informed about data management in other spheres.

It's clear that the blockchain technology opens a lot of opportunities to us and many universities understand that. According to the professor of computer science Dan Boneh, soon the blockchain technology will be the crucial aspect in every business and it's just the matter of time when will it happen. Also, he added that “Stanford should be at the forefront of efforts to improve, apply and understand the many ripple effects of this technology'' and also he noted that in the future  ''this area will generate many PhD theses across all of computer science and beyond.”
